Welcome to Caldwell Elementary!

Caldwell Elementary was named after Gibson C. Caldwell, son of a prominent North Texas physician. A local business and civic leader, Mr. Caldwell managed the Collin County Mill and Elevator Company. He became director of the Collin County National Bank in 1939 and was elected chairman of the bank’s board in 1954. Mr. Caldwell was elected to the McKinney School Board in 1926 where he served for twenty-five years, leading as its president from 1939 to 1951.

Caldwell Elementary is located one-half mile from downtown McKinney, among one of the largest historic districts in Texas. The school services approximately 530 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
