Setting up your Guardian SSO Account to Use HAC

Please claim your Guardian SSO Portal Account if you are new to McKinney ISD or if you have not already claimed it. All parents/guardians have one Single Sign-On (SSO) Portal account for all of their children. Each parent must have a separate email address.

Guardians will use this one login to access:

Canvas – Online Management System for 3rd through 12th grades

Home Access Center (HAC) – System for viewing grades, attendance, testing, paying any fees, etc. You must go through the SSO Portal to access HAC.

To claim your SSO Portal account go to https://portal.mckinneyisd.net and click the “Claim Guardian Account” button. Enter Guardian Information. The first name, last name, and e-mail address MUST match what was entered during registration. You will also need to enter one Student ID. Do not enter the “s” in front of the student number.
