10 Days in August: MISD Heads Back to School!

McKinney, Texas – To say that teachers returned to work on Aug. 1 doesn’t really tell the whole story; most educators spend at least part of their summer each year preparing for the start of school. Nevertheless, once Aug. 1 arrived and McKinney ISD teachers officially returned to their respective campuses, preparations for the new school year kicked into high gear as they eagerly anticipated the arrival of students on Aug. 9.

Here is a quick look back at the past 10 days in McKinney ISD from the return of teachers to the return of students:
