Bennett Elementary hosted their first Bennett Live of the 2024-2025 school year. The Bennett Live was revamped this year, being held again on Friday afternoons and featuring new awards. The awards presented this year were all focused on academic achievement in the classrooms. Teachers announced each award for their classes. Our specials classes awarded students for demonstrating the character trait of the month.
We continued the tradition of honoring and recognizing students for demonstrating the Bennett Creed. Students will celebrate with a special lunch with Mrs. Halpin and Dr. Tillson next week. New this year, teachers and staff were recognized for showing the Bennett Creed too! Congratulations to music teacher, Mrs. Arias and Library Assistant Dee Johnson for being our first Creed winners!
During the Bennett Live event, a special grant was provided to the 4th grade team from our State Farm Family, Sara and Ryan White. Thank you for your support!
Special shout out to our 4th graders for being recognized as Benny's Spirit Winners and 2nd grade for being recognized with the Golden Spoon for keeping the cafeteria clean!
