Things were definitely busy here at DMS. Thursday night, an email went out to all secondary parents from the district stating that your laptop fees had not been paid. This list included those that have paid. We apologize for the confusion. Please contact Lindsey Naquin (lnaquin@mckinneyisd.net), DMS Bookkeeper, if you have any issues logging into My School Bucks.
Please help us support your child by checking their grades to ensure they are able to participate in everything going on at Dowell. We also need your help with regard to student ID badges. Students are still working to remember them every day. Feel free to remind your child to tie them on to their backpack so they don’t forget or lose them. We have started to issue lunch detentions, and we will begin applying fees to the MySchoolBucks accounts on Monday.
As we continue to partner together, a reminder about expectations at Dowell would be much appreciated. We are starting to see some silliness that could absolutely be corrected with maybe a little talk at home.
