Quarter Two is off to a great start. I reminded students on Wednesday that everyone starts the quarter off with a 100, and it is up to them to keep it. As always, we appreciate your partnership with checking assignments in HAC weekly to ensure your child has turned in all assignments, and made up any work when absent.
This week, we have a lot going on at DMS. It is Red Ribbon Week, so each day will have a theme. We have another Victory Day in PAWS. Victory Days are designed as an incentive for students to turn in work. If a student had no missing work from Sept 19 to October 19, then they are given free time during PAWS one day next week. We also have our Quarter One “A” Honor Roll and Lion Pride Awards on Thursday. Be on the lookout for more information.
We have two teachers, Mrs. Branch and Mr. Graber, who applied for MEF Grants. We would love to see your support of these endeavors, so please check them out at McKinney Education Foundation Family Funded Grants 2024 (qgiv.com).
