I was so impressed with all of our students and staff’s creativity during Red Ribbon Week! I especially enjoyed seeing our kiddos interpretations of what their teachers look like. Next week, We will allow Halloween costumes on Halloween. Please help your students select a school appropriate costume. No blood, weapons, or face coverings will be allowed.
Thursday, we honored our A Honor Roll students and Lion Pride Award recipients. If you were not able to attend, all three ceremonies were posted to Facebook. We also had another round of Victory Days during PAWS. The kids loved having a break in the morning to just be kids. We really feel that this incentive has had a positive impact on our students. We have had several students mention to us in the hallway that they have turned in all their work so they can attend the next Victory day. Our next round will be before Thanksgiving, and we will have even more activities for the students to select from.
A big shout out to our PTO for bringing in a coffee truck on Tuesday, and delivering coffee to all of our staff. Caffeine always makes the day better! Thank you.
