Principal's Message
Happy Friday, Dowell Lions!! We have officially kicked off STAAR season. Wednesday, students completed the Reading STAAR test. It was a long day, but our students took it seriously, and took their time. Next week, 8th graders only will take the Science test (Wednesday) and US History test (Thursday). We want to wish them luck!
Spring is officially here. I wanted to remind everyone that we do not allow cell phones and ear buds during passing periods. We allow them at lunch, and before/after school. We are taking them up and will leave them at the front office to collect at the end of the day. If you have any questions, please reach out.
We are headed up to OU this weekend for Parents Weekend, and to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Have a wonderful sunshine-filled weekend!!
