Happy Friday on a Thursday!! 8th grade knocked out two more STAAR tests. We are proud of all their hard work. We know it can be overwhelming but we are impressed with how they powered through. One more to go! Next Wednesday, all students will take STAAR Math. Our campus will be closed, and students will eat lunch in their testing rooms similar to STAAR Reading day.

A few reminders about expectations:

• No earbuds or phones in classes or hallways. They will be taken to the office for pick up at the end of the day.

• Students should not be using other student’s laptops or any technology devices. We are noticing that we have damages to devices because students are playing around. Your student could be held liable for any damages.

• Restroom breaks during class are for emergencies only. We are monitoring that students use the restroom closest to their class. Consequences may be issued for wandering our hallways away from designated classrooms.

• Playing around often results in innocent bystanders being bumped,etc. Please partner with us and discuss with your child the importance of appropriate behaviors.

School is not over, and we have lots still to learn, and want to finish the year strong. Enjoy your long weekend! We will see everyone back on Monday!!
