Here is important information to assist your student in having a smooth start to the school year by ensuring the MISD issued Macbook currently checked out to your student is in good working order.

Laptop Cord/Charger

  • Do you have the laptop cord and charger?

  • Does it properly charge the laptop?

Laptop

  • Does the laptop power on?

  • Can your student login to the laptop?

  • Is the date and time correct on the laptop?

  • Is the laptop screen cracked?

  • Do all of the keys on the keyboard work properly?

  • Are you able to login to the laptop?

  • Can you connect to your home WiFi or HotSpot?

If the laptop is in good working order, please keep the laptop plugged in and charging to ensure it receives the latest updates.
