‼️Things to note‼️
👒Hat Day! Friday August 16.🧢
Day 1️⃣ ☀️
Thank you 😊 so much Tiger 🐅 Families for an AMAZING first day of school. 🏫 We welcomed 1,016 students into the building today 💙Our hearts 🧡are full with joy.
Some reminders & information:
✏️Schedule change requests are being processed as quickly as possible, however classes also have to be balanced as well. If your child has filled out the QR code for a change of schedule, please know we are working on it. Counselors will likely need through the end of next week to get everything finalized so your patience is appreciated. Your child should follow the yell🟡w printed schedule they were given today until he/she is notified of the change.
📗🖍️ Supplies: Your student should give Kleenex, expo dry erase markers, construction paper, and hand sanitizer to their ADVISORY teacher. All other supplies are items your student will need throughout the year. They do not need to carry 20 glue sticks right now. Put 1-2 in the backpack and when it’s gone, you’ll have more to replace it. This is applicable to other items as well (notebooks, pens, pencils). Items such as colored pencils and markers should be carried in a pencil pouch inside their 🎒daily as these are used in many classes.
🚧🚗🚙 Car Line🚙🚗🚧
Please keep it moving. Remember to pull up all the way to the empty space so that more cars can get through in a timely manner. Remind your student to be l👀king for you at dismissal. The hold up is usually students not paying attention. We need them to move swiftly and safely to the vehicle. Also—parents please do not use your cell phone 📱 while driving in the school zone.
🇺🇸Friday is our first dress up day. We are celebrating TEAM USA Olympians and would love to see you sport your 🔴⚪️🔵.
