J.W. Webb Elementary was established in 1953 and was one of the four original elementary schools in McKinney. At that time, it was called East Ward.
J.W. Webb Elementary delivers a distinctive, challenging and enriching educational experience to kindergarten-5th grade students. Building a strong academic and social foundation is paramount at the elementary level. For this reason, McKinney ISD teachers and staff are committed to teaching the “whole child” in our elementary schools. The elementary curriculum is consistent from campus to campus, ensuring a high–quality education regardless of the school, yet allowing teachers the latitude to develop innovative strategies that are tailored to the individual child.
Webb Elementary has a strong connection with the neighborhood community. Teachers, parents, and students work collaboratively, enabling students to learn at high levels. The Webb Administration and staff encourage parent involvement and support to help carry on the culture of high expectations and student success. For more information, please call 469-302-6000
